Day Five

This moment, right now, is a point of possible transformation in our lives. I truly mean that word transformation: “a thorough or dramatic change in form, a metamorphosis during the life cycle.” We are at a moment that is rich with the possibility to not just translate our experience into a different meaning but to truly transform who and what we are and become someone new! The possibility for this type of transformation is always possible, yet right now there is a collective movement energetically that is making the possible transition a little easier.

So how do we open up to and receive that transformation in our lives? The answer is in accepting and taking back our power. I know those words are not new - but listen to what they really mean. Say them out loud and listen to what those words are truly expressing right now. I want you to take a moment and stop. Stop reading and ask yourself, "Where am I losing power? Where am I leaking power from myself? Who or what have I invested my power in?" Seriously, take a moment now and just stop.

What did you find? Who or what or where is your power invested in? You see, the reason we do not heal, the reason we do not live the life we desire, is because we have given our power away or our power has been taken from us. Here is something you need to know: we can only change as fast as we are able to open to and receive light/love/grace/power into our lives. The time it takes to change, or our psychic wait time is equal to the psychic weight we carry, the power we have and the power we are able to receive.

Let's go back to looking at this through the lens of vibration and energy. An example that most of us can connect with is electricity as power. Think of your electric breaker box or fuse box. We understand that if we have a fuse or breaker marked 15amp on it, it can handle 15amps and not 50amps. Amps are just a measurement of amount of power. So, if 30amps or 40amps or 50amps try to come through that fuse, what happens? It blows the fuse, or the breaker “trips.” The system can’t handle the extra amount of power, so it shuts down by either breaking or switching off.

Where is your system right now? How much power do you have? How much power can you take in? How have you been treating your body? What food are you feeding it? Are you moving enough or sitting/lying still too much? What do you feed yourself, mentally and emotionally? Where are you investing your power? You can only change or grow to your capacity to handle and receive power! If you want to change, if you want to grow, then you must begin to take your power back. And you must start with yourself!

This is the “spiritual” path. Every major spiritual teacher that I have read and studied has said this in some form. When you strip away all the rules that humans have created to feel safe, they all say the same thing. "The Light of the Divine is in you." This is how we change the world we live in, personally and globally. It always begins with you.

So, how do we sabotage ourselves and give our power away? We all have somehow not followed through or lived up to the agreements we make with ourselves. We say we will do this or that and we don’t follow through. We keep making promises to ourselves and don’t keep them. How do you do this in your life? Start little. Start small. You will be amazed at how much these little lies to ourselves strip our power away. So many of us want to go to the big items in our lives because we want them to stop or go away, yet doing that, going there first is investing fear into the process of your growth and fear will only bring more fear.

What is some small agreement you want to make with yourself that you will follow through with? It doesn’t matter what it is, just keep it simple. You can build up as you have more personal power (also known as self-esteem, esteem in yourself). How do you want to start your journey back to have great esteem for yourself? Not in an egotistical way, but so that you see the Light and the Divine in you so clearly that you cannot but see it in everyone else as well. Now make that commitment to you! Follow through! If you want your life to be or have something different, you have to be willing to love yourself enough to follow through for you.

This is the first step to reclaiming your power. Some of us may find it easy and will be able to move on to larger places in our lives and continue reclaiming our power. Some of us may find this step really hard and challenging to do and it will take time and a lot of effort for even the smallest of things to change. Both are okay. We are all at different places in our lives. Your moments and your place right now, the path that you walk with your struggles and accomplishments, are just as valid as anyone else’s. It is time to take a stand for yourself. Make the statement, "It is not okay for me to devalue myself anymore! It is not okay! No more am I willing to compromise who I am! No more!" When we are willing and able to see the light in ourselves, we can truly see the light in everyone else.

I love you! You got this! We got this! Let’s embrace the world we desire by starting with ourselves!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!
